The Carmelite Heritage Room at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Middletown, NY

The Carmelite Heritage Room at the National Shrine (Middletown, NY) – Now on display through the end of March 2015, a special exhibit celebrating the 125th Anniversary of the arrival of the Carmelites in New York. The exhibit features historic photographs of the “founding fathers” and the first generation of Carmelites to serve at Our Lady of the Scapular Church and Bellevue Hospital; original property deeds, rare documents; and an assortment of treasured artifacts.

The Heritage Room is open M-F from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We hope if you are in the Middletown area you will stop by and visit our Shrine and check out this beautiful exhibit in the Heritage Room.
