Bro Brent Alexis, O.Carm. Solemnly Professed and Ordained a Deacon

On Sunday 19th June 2016 at the Carmelite parish church of St. Michael’s Bro. Brent Alexis, O.Carm professed his Solemn Vows as a Carmelite friar.  In attendance were all the Carmelite Friars and students from Trinidad, including Bros. Nigel Ali, Mikhail Woodruffe, Marlon Beharry and Jonathan Steele. Fr. John Horan was Master of Ceremonies. A number of Carmelite sisters, Lay Carmelite tertiary, other religious, family members of Bro. Brent, specially invited guests were present.

Bro Brent Alexis, O.Carm. was then ordained as a transitional deacon on Tuesday, June 21 at the St. John the Baptist R.C church, San Juan at 6:30pm.  His Grace, Archbishop Joseph Harris was the ordaining bishop. 

We wish Bro. Brent God’s blessings and guidance as a solemnly professed member of the Carmelite Order and a deacon.
